Project launch Kerkrade: What’s it all about?
WDP and Wyckerveste have joined forces to build the new, sustainable, highly efficient WSP Parkstad and WALL!SUPPLY warehouse. These two locally rooted companies are set for logistic success at the border tripoint of the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.
The new distribution centre is built at a visibility location at Parkstad Limburg, an easily accessible and vibrant industrial region in Kerkrade, home to 1,550 companies in various industries.
Sustainability at the heart of the project
This warehouse sets a high bar for sustainability and user comfort. The facility is equipped with ample bicycle sheds, parking spots with charging docks, loads of natural light inside, and a design for the books.
The building is seamlessly integrated into its surroundings, boasts an A+++ energy label with all-electric heating, and is built according to BREAAM*** standards.
The clients: highly ambitious local companies
Two local businesses will make this brand-new development their logistics home: WALL!SUPPLY and WSP Parkstad.
WALL!SUPPLY is an innovative producer of creative and high-quality wall coverings on an ambitious growth path requiring top-notch infrastructure for their operations. WSP Parkstad is the local expertise centre for inclusive labour, guiding talent with specific challenges towards tailored work that fits their needs and qualities.
