Distrilog and WDP have proved that they are two peas in a pod more than once. In 2008, for example, the millionth square metre that WDP owned was Distrilog’s in Willebroek. WDP’s five millionth square metre, currently under construction, is also intended for the family business specialising in the storage and distribution of goods in DIY, FMCG, and food retail.

WDP built a new 30,000 m² construction project last year in Zellik for Euro Pool System, Europe’s largest logistics service provider for multi-use packaging. From this service centre, among other things, the return logistics of the distribution centre of Delhaize in Zellik take place. A logistics process that overflows with sustainability from start to finish.
A few months ago, Mediq, an international player in the medical devices market, moved into WDP’s brand new Fulfilment Centre in Bleiswijk. It’s not just any warehouse; it’s a Fulfilment Centre that has been specially designed for the medical devices sector and that, in addition to distribution, is also equipped with additional healthcare-related services and activities.
This year, Giesbers, developer and builder of integral housing solutions, will launch a major turnkey project commissioned by WDP: a brand-new 19,000-m² warehouse, with 2,300 m² of office space, in the business estate at Ijsseloord 2 in Arnhem. The design for the new building was done based on the activities of the future lessee, Bunzl Retail & Industry.
