BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER GERMANY

 

 

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL BE UP TO

You will work under supervision of the CEO.  You will initialise and follow up the development of WDP in Germany by its Joint Venture. You will work closely with both teams of the JV; WDP NV and VIB Vermögen AG.

Your working area will be Germany, with an initial focus on North Rhine-Westphalia, Bremen, Hamburg.

Your key responsibilities

  • Execution of our commercial strategy and attract companies looking for logistic real estate solutions;
  • Identify potential sites for new logistic developments;
  • Turn opportunities into specific initiatives and projects;
  • Acquisitions and follow-up of current developments within the JV together with the internal partners (CTO, CFO,...);
  • Approach customers from our WDP portfolio to seize opportunities in Germany (incl. cross border business);
  • Elaborate feasibility studies and risk analyses;
  • Set up and follow up investment costs;
  • Negotiations with customers to achieve a common signing rental agreement;
  • Represent WDP by maintaining contacts with the related representatives, brokers, buyers and tenants;
  • Provide regular progress updates and accurate reporting.

     

 

HERE'S YOUR PROFILE

  • You have a Master’s degree or equivalent by experience;
  • You have experience in a commercial position in real estate and/or logistics and a proven network in this environment;
  • You have a proactive entrepreneurial mindset with proven acquisition and negotiation competence;
  • You are native German speaking and you have a perfect command of English; knowledge of Dutch would be a nice to have;
  • You have an analytical mindset and you are a problem solver;
  • You have good communication skills, as you will liaise with colleagues and external stakeholders;
  • You have a positive workattitude, you are flexible and a team player;
  • You are willing to travel within Benelux, France and Romania.
