Right next to the train station of Barendrecht, WDP will develop a modern distribution centre on a site covering more than 60,000 m2. In the first phase a "built-to-suit" warehouse of ca. 24,800 m2 with 36 loading docks will be realised. In the second phase a building of 9,670 m² with 14 docks will be added, which can be divided into 2 warehouses of 4.835 m² with 7 docks each. The complex will have sufficient parking lots and office space. The exact office floor area still needs to be determined in more detail. The construction of mezzanine floors is another possibility. The warehouse will at least be provided with a BREEAM-NL GOOD certificate. Outside storage is also possible.
The industrial estate in Barendrecht already has many AGF companies. The fact that the train station and the exit and access roads for the A15 and A16 motorways are at a stone's throw, make the site very accessible. The container terminal of Ridderkerk, just under 10 km away, is also easily accessible. And the port of Rotterdam is a half an hour drive.
