New distribution centre for NewCorp Logistics in Hoeksche Waard

WDP invested in a plot of 30,000 m2 in Hoeksche Waard Business Park at the beginning of March. Hercuton will build a distribution centre for NewCorp Logistics there. The choice for a business park close to Rotterdam is a strategic move by NewCorp, a logistics service provider with customers in more than 60 countries.

Good location

The reason NewCorp Logistics chose Hoeksche Waard Business Park as the ideal location for their new distribution centre has everything to do with the excellent location. The business park is located near the ports of Rotterdam and Antwerp, as well as important access roads. This is ideal for NewCorp, a specialist in logistics and the transportation of customs goods for customers around the world. A made-to-measure building in the business park provides them with an opportunity to provide even better support to their customers.

Newbuild business premises

The new business premises, of which NewCorp are going to hire half, will cover a staggering 20,000 m2 and consist of a steel structure with a concrete plinth and steel sandwich panels. The design, developed by Hercuton, offers a spacious warehouse with mezzanine, office areas on both sides of the building, a VAL area, 21 loading and unloading docks and an outside area. In addition to the design, Hercuton is also taking care of the entire turnkey construction project.

Additional jobs

NewCorp is currently still housed in the Boonsweg buildings, barely 350 metres away from the future location. This means the company will be able to retain many jobs after the move. Even better, the logistics company also hopes to create an additional 50 jobs with the modern business building.
